About The Summit

Vision

The EMPOWER ME SUMMIT is an annual gathering of African Americans in the Pittsburgh region to share a platform for divided silos to collaborate, educate, and inspire an expansion of community support. Originally a seminar for mentorship, the EMPOWER ME SUMMIT has evolved into the critical bridge for black empowerment in Western Pennsylvania. The platform provides the community’s respected public contributors to a room of engaged listeners to promote unity and personal development that an investment of mentorship has a lasting legacy effect.
